Most of the game apps I have on my ‘i’ device were downloaded while they were having a promotion. Occasionally I luck out and get one that I would’ve easily paid a couple of bucks for. Guardian Saga is such a game. Only Saint Michael (or was it Peter?) at the pearly gates can tell me how many hours I spent level grinding as a child playing Dragon Warrior. I hunted silver slimes to the brink of extinction. Now as an adult, not much has changed, entire subway commutes are now spend healing myself with spells and upgrading my sword so I can save the kingdom. My only complaint is that I can’t listen to a podcast while I play so I can at least feel like I am multi-tasking.
